The new Type PAT – Protective Adjustable Threshold – manufactured by Cavity Trays of Yeovil has just secured the Product of the Year Award in the Housebuilder 2018 Awards.
Designed for use when constructing on contaminated land, the Type PAT provides gas and damp arrestment wherever there is an external doorway, and does so in a way that enables wall gas barriers to link up to provide seamless protection.
The Awards are run by the Housebuilder publication in partnership with the Home Builders Federation (HBF) and the National House Builders Council (NHBC). The judges said Cavity Trays Type PAT was just the sort of product that tackles the need of the housebuilding sector and of all the excellent products considered was a touch above the rest.
The Type PAT is one of several new products manufactured by Cavity Trays Ltd included within its 2019 Technical Manual.
Cavity Trays is the only UK cavity tray manufacturer awarded European Technical Approval and approved products are accompanied with a performance undertaking.
